Where is your clothing made?

Our clothing is designed and made in Thailand and shipped from our operations in Khon Kaen. Each product page explains the style, material, included pieces and fit information for that item.

Is this real Thai clothing or costume wear?

Our collection is intended for real occasions such as weddings, ordinations, temple visits, Songkran and cultural celebrations. We choose styles that reflect Thai dress rather than novelty or costume interpretations.

What are the garments made from?

Materials vary by product and may include Thai silk-blend, cotton and other fabrics. Check the individual product page for the exact material description of the piece you are considering.

Are items ready to ship?

Unless a product page states otherwise, items are ready to ship. Most orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days. We do not currently offer made-to-measure clothing.

How do you check orders before dispatch?

We check that the item, colour and size match the order and inspect its condition before packing it for delivery.

Which sizes do you offer?

Available sizes vary by design. Selected styles are available up to 5XL. The size options and measurements shown on each product page are the sizes available for that particular piece.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure your bust, waist, hips and any other points requested on the product page, then compare those measurements with that product’s size chart. Thai garments and structured fabrics may fit differently from everyday Western clothing, so do not choose by the size label alone.

Do different Thai styles fit differently?

Yes. Structured bodices sit closer to the body, relaxed blouses allow more room, and different skirt and trouser styles sit at different points on the waist or hips. Always use the measurements and fit notes for the exact product rather than assuming the same labelled size will fit identically across every style.

Do you offer custom sizing or alterations?

We do not currently offer made-to-measure sizing or alterations. A local tailor may be able to alter some garments, but altered items cannot be returned or exchanged.

How should I care for my garment?

Always follow the care label attached to your garment because materials and embellishments vary. Unless the label says otherwise, handle the piece gently, use cold water if hand washing is permitted, avoid bleach and tumble drying, and keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight.

For heavily embellished, structured or delicate pieces, professional cleaning may be the safest option. Tell the cleaner the garment is delicate and show them the care label.

How do I place an order?

Choose the product options and size, add the item to your cart, and complete checkout. Check your email address and delivery address carefully before paying. We will send an order confirmation and, after dispatch, a shipping confirmation with tracking.

Which payment methods do you accept?

The payment methods currently available for your country, currency and device are displayed at checkout. Payments are handled through secure third-party payment providers, and we do not store your complete card details.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Email care@thaitraditionalwear.com immediately with your order number. We can cancel an order, change an available size or correct an address only before dispatch. Because most orders leave within 1–2 business days, changes are not guaranteed.

I entered the wrong address. What should I do?

Email care@thaitraditionalwear.com immediately with your order number and complete corrected address. Once a parcel has been dispatched, we may not be able to redirect it.

Why did I not receive an order confirmation?

Check your spam or junk folder first. If the message is still missing, email care@thaitraditionalwear.com with your name, the email used at checkout and the approximate order time.

Where do you ship, and how much does it cost?

We ship worldwide from Thailand. Standard worldwide shipping is free on orders of US$150 or more. For orders below US$150, the standard flat rate is US$18.95 or the amount shown in your local currency at checkout.

The amount displayed at checkout before payment is the shipping charge that applies to your order.

Will I have to pay customs duties or taxes?

United States: import duties are included where stated at checkout and in our current Shipping Policy.

Other countries: customs duties, import taxes, VAT or carrier handling charges may apply on arrival. Unless checkout expressly says those charges are included, they are the customer’s responsibility.

How long does delivery take?

International delivery typically takes 10–14 days after dispatch. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed arrival date. Customs, postal disruption, weather and local delivery conditions can add time.

Will I receive tracking?

Yes. We send a tracking number and tracking link after dispatch. Please monitor the tracking for customs notices, collection requests and delivery attempts.

My parcel is delayed. What should I do?

Check the tracking first. If it has not updated for several days or more than 14 days have passed since dispatch, email care@thaitraditionalwear.com with your order number so we can investigate.

What is your return and exchange window?

Email care@thaitraditionalwear.com within 14 days after delivery to request a return or exchange. After approval, the item must be postmarked back within 14 days.

Items must be unworn except for a reasonable fitting, unwashed, unaltered, unmarked and returned with the original tags attached. See our Returns & Exchanges Policy for complete terms.

Who pays return postage?

The customer pays tracked return postage for a standard return or size exchange. For an approved size exchange, we send the replacement size without an additional outbound shipping charge after the original item arrives and passes inspection.

How are standard returns credited?

Approved standard returns are normally issued as non-expiring store credit within 5–7 business days after inspection. If you want a refund to the original payment method instead, request it when you first contact us. We will confirm in writing whether it is approved before you return the item. Any mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

What if my item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect?

Email care@thaitraditionalwear.com promptly with your order number and clear photographs. Once confirmed, we will cover reasonable return costs where a return is required and offer an appropriate replacement or a refund to the original payment method.

Which items cannot be returned?

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, we cannot accept final-sale or clearance items, custom or altered pieces, items outside the return window, items with removed tags, or pieces that have been worn, washed, altered, marked, damaged or scented.

Can you help me choose something appropriate?

Yes. Tell us the occasion, dress code if you have one, your role at the event and the product you are considering. Email hello@thaitraditionalwear.com and we will help you narrow down a suitable style.

I am not Thai. Is it appropriate to wear Thai dress?

Yes, when it is worn respectfully and suits the occasion. Many customers are partners, family members or guests attending Thai weddings and cultural events. Choose an appropriate style, follow the host’s dress guidance and avoid treating traditional clothing as novelty costume wear.

What should I wear to a temple?

Choose a modest style that covers the shoulders and knees. Avoid transparent fabric, very low necklines and exposed midriffs. Requirements can vary, so follow any guidance from the specific temple or your host.

What do Thai men wear to traditional events?
