Why I Started Thai Traditional Wear
Hi, I’m Aiw, the founder.
I grew up in Northern Thailand, surrounded by traditional dress and the weaving culture of the region. From an early age I learned that Thai clothing is never just clothing — every pattern, color, and fold carries meaning, and wearing it well is a way of showing respect.
A Bridge Back to Thailand
Living and travelling abroad, I kept meeting Thai families — and partners and friends of Thai families — facing the same problem. They wanted to honor an important occasion in proper Thai dress, but their only choices were costume-grade imitations or risky marketplace listings shipped from who-knows-where.
So I built the company I wished had existed: a trustworthy source for authentic Thai clothing, shipped directly from Thailand, with real people on hand to help you choose well.
