Why I Started Thai Traditional Wear
Hi, I am Sutthida — although family and friends know me as Aiw, a common Thai nickname.
I grew up in Thailand surrounded by traditional dress. From an early age, I learned that Thai clothing is never just clothing. Its patterns, colours and folds carry meaning, and wearing it with care is a way of showing respect for both the occasion and the people around you.
A Bridge Back to Thailand
While living and travelling abroad, I kept meeting Thai families — and partners and friends of Thai families — who faced the same problem. They wanted to honour an important occasion in proper Thai dress, but finding the right style, quality and fit from overseas was difficult.
So I built the company I wished had existed: a dependable source for Thai clothing sent directly from Thailand, with real people available to help customers choose the right piece for the occasion.
