Standard delivery: typically 10–14 days
The sabai is the draped piece that finishes a traditional Thai outfit, and the Chomchan makes it easy. It arrives ready to wear, with no cutting, sewing or reshaping. Just drape it over the shoulder, wrap it across the bust, and you’re done.
The gold motifs are woven in, not printed, so they look crisp and slightly raised and catch the light as you move. They cover the whole piece, so it looks rich from every angle. The fabric is light and drapes well, neither flimsy nor stiff, and holds its shape through a long ceremony.
Pattern 1 has a slim, flame-edged teardrop motif with airy spacing for a delicate look. Pattern 2 has a rounder, fuller motif with a bolder, classic brocade feel. Either one pairs easily with a pha sin (Thai skirt) in almost any color and suits weddings, merit-making, formal events and period photo shoots.
The fabric is an Indian silk weave with a woven gold pattern across the whole piece. It's lightweight and drapes softly, and it's neither thin nor stiff.
It measures 3 meters long (about 118 inches, or 3¼ yards) and 14–15 inches wide (about 36–38 cm). The length is enough for the classic over-the-shoulder drape with a generous tail. It's sold ready to wear and needs no cutting, sewing or reshaping. The skirts and belts shown in the photos are for styling only.
Hand wash very gently, or dry clean.
